Both teams are playing some of their best basketball of the season setting the stage for an explosive semifinal showdown. Angel Reese and the Tigers have won nine straight games to close the regular season and in the SEC Tournament. The Rebels are right there with them winning seven straight games and finishing third in the conference this season. This will be a good and fun basketball game.

During the regular season, the teams played just once with the Tigers winning 84-73 after jumping out to a 13-point lead at the half. The Rebels made it close down the stretch but were not able to pull off the upset just over two months ago.
In the win for the Tigers they were led by Reese with 21 points and nine rebounds. She anchored the offense that had all five starters finish in double-figures scoring. Freshman Mikaylah Williams (20 points and four steals), Flau’jae Johnson (16 points and six rebounds), Aneesah Morrow (13 points and eight rebounds) and Hailey Van Lith (13 points and four assists) all scored in double-figures.
Marquesha Davis led the way for the Rebels in the loss with 24 points, seven rebounds and four assists on 10-14 shooting from the field. Madison Scott and Snudda Collins added 12 points each as the only other double-figure scorers in the loss. They will need to play even better to pull off the upset here in the SEC Tournament semifinals today.
